Jeep: 50psi tire pressure???

    Re: 50psi tire pressure???

It might be a good idea to google for tire pressure advice from tire
and vehicle manufacturers. Some tires have a fairly heavy load range
and will allow you to put unusually high pressures, say 50 psi, in
the tire when carrying an extra heavy load. This allows the tire to
maintain proper geometry with that heavy load and helps avoid
overheating. With the more normal load on a Jeep, you'll want to
ignore uninformed advice and stick with pressures closer to what
the jeep engineers advise--on the door sticker. Helps keep the
    shiny side up.

Wrong. It is to allow heavy load without flattening the tire.

    Wrong again.

Wrong again. And the inflation pressure on the jeep door is not
    "insufficient".
Yeah, the ones that designed the suspension of the vehicle.
