Chevrolet: 2006 Malibu Question

I have a 2006 Malibu. Lately, but not all the time, when I put the key in
and turn the car on, I get a message on the dash board saying "Power
Steering". I can not find a resevoir to check to see if the power steering
fluid is low.

Any idea what to check?

Here's a link to car complaints for the 2004, which the 2006 is the same
I think, just not as much time for complaints.
The electronic steering is apparently a common, serious, design defect.
