    2003 Not a record year/Happy New Year !

Well here we are at the end of another year. It wasn't a record year at
my house for any car " records ". Just slightly over 25,000 miles were
put on the car this year. I was hoping to see 275,000 on the odometer by
the end of this year, but it looks like I'll have to wait till next
year, er next week. LOL !

2002 was " the " year for miles, 34,000 to be exact, The car also used
up 104 tanks of gas in 2002. Shell got rich off me.

I'll have all the figures calculated next week.

Going out later for the " last cruise " of 2003, got the car all cleaned
    up, purdy like.

Have a Happy & Safe New Year !

You were out on your last cruise of the year in your car. I was out
for the first AND last cruise of the year in my truck. Upgraded from
my 94 Jimmy to a 2000 S-10 ZR2. Will eventually get some pics
    somewhere...

This is too cool! I also keep close track of the fuel usage for my
vehicles. I did mine on the computer first thing this morning. We
used to put on a lot of miles when our daughters were in high school.
Now that they're off to college, we only drive about 20,000 miles per
year. This year, our car averaged 27.8 mpg which brought the lifetime
average up a tenth to 27.6. We've travelled just over 208,000 miles
since we bought the car used in 1994 and have burned over 7,500
gallons of alcohol-spiked fuel. Who else in the world but Harry and
me get off on stuff like this?

I could add up the total gallons used since 1991 but it will take a long
time. I'm not sure I want to know that total.
