Honda: 2003 Accord EX V6 - Transmission noise?

might want to check the NHTSA website for consumer complaints, I believe
there are some tranny issues posted.

grinding noise when cold and at about the 1st to 2nd gear shift point
since it was new (now 9000 miles). I can even feel the brief grinding
in the gas pedal. I complained once but just got a blank stare from the
