Infiniti: 2002 Q45: how to add MP3 playback off CDs

Is there an inexpensive method of changing built-in CD
player (while preserving changer functionality) to one
that will play MP3s ?

Was @ dealership today for an oil change and saw M45 that
has that capability natively ...


also was told one is coming out soon that will support iPod
outta box (or is it "off the ship" )
