2002 Lancer
hay are lancers good cars, how long do the last most the time, or could i
get a civic?

Re: 2002 Lancer
A civic would be better, IMHO. The Lancer is a go-kart...so is the civic,
but it has resale value to little suburban punks that want to put fart pipes
and giant wings on them while listening to rap music (if you call that
music).

Re: 2002 Lancer
Well then, you can look like a wolf or be a wolf. A 1G turbo, or even 2G,
Eclipse is far faster than anything you could get for the money. Instead of
putting thousands into a fin and painting the dash, you could have a solid
12 second car for far less.
This is a video of me versus a Honduh with 1K plus wheels, painted interior,
fart pipe, and all the other rice crap. He thought he was fast, but he
wasn't:

2002 Lancer
Just bought an 02 Lancer. The a/c works great, can not turn the know to
heat it is stuck and the a/c light will not turn off even if you hit the
switch. Anyone have any ideas on where to start with the control knob??

Re: 2002 Lancer
Found the problem. The plastic piece that connects to the a/c heater
control under the dash was designed wrong. It hangs up and when you try
and turn the know it just stays there. If you put to much pressure on it
you break the unit and have to replace it. If you go to mistu and get the
new plastic piece it is only about $15.00 and a couple of minutes to
replace. Fixes the problem!!!
