Chevrolet: 2002 Chevy Malibu V6

Hello, I have a 2002 Chevy Malibu V6 and I need to find a lead or wire
that I can splice or connect into that goes hot (12V) only when the
motor is running.

Any help is appreciated

This is unsophisticated. How about a headlight wire?
The headlights are on all the time when the engine
is running.
