    2000 Tiburon Over-Heating Problem

I have a 2000 tiburon, that is over heating. I put in a new thermostat, but
my fans do not turn on. It doesn't over heat all the time, but enough to be
a problem. I checked all the fuses, there all good. It hesitates like the
fans are turning on, but they don't. I have 121,000 miles on it and am the
original owner. Any help is greatly appreaciated. Thanks

Gotta love Hyundai too. The web information they've made available
must be the envy of most non-Hyundai owners.

    Re: 2000 Tiburon Over-Heating Problem

Your radiator fans are operated by your ECM.
    Your problem could be:
    Faulty coolant temperature sensor.
    Faulty fan relay.
    Faulty fan motor.

You can look at the schematics at www.hmaservice.com. Select "service
information" and "web tech". Select your year and model. Schematics are
available under "ETM" (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual).
Troubleshooting information will be in the "shop" section.
