2000 Quest rear drums - How?
I'm looking for info on the bolt size/threading needed to remove the rear
drums. There are two holes either side of the rear bearing that require bolts
to be inserted in order to torq down and push the drum off.
Can anyone tell me what size/threading?
Thanks!!

Yeah, I found those dimensions after I posted this. The set of tools I found
was something like $35, and I can't find anyone who has them locally.
What do they do? Put pressure on something and push the drum off? Seems like
an assinine way to secure the drum.
Looks like I'll have to have it towed and will have to grab my ankles when I
pay the bill.
Thanks.

???? All you do is screw two bolts into those holes and it pushes the drum
off the hub. There is no special tool needed other than a couple of 8mm
bolts. Normally a couple of raps with a hammer to the flat surface where
the hub interfaces the drum will get a brake drum loose.
?? Most other cars don't have these threaded holes to help get stuck drums
off so it's MUCH harder to deal with. The wheel "secures" the drum to the
hub with the lug nuts. This is how almost every rear drum on any car is
attached.

Correct. And I've never had a problem using a rubber mallet and a couple of
taps to get the drum to come loose.
Oh well. It's off to NTB in the morning regardless.
