Mitsubishi: 1992 Mirage electrical issue

I would say you have a short some where in your electrical system. Unhook
your brakes and see what happens. If your dashboard lights come on, there is
a short in that side of the harness.

goes through the dashbord lights via the rear light cluster instead of via
the vehicle earth,Check your earthing and all rear bulbs.
