Mercedes-Benz: 1983 300D - Blower Motor

The blower motor on my mercedes stopped working. I have to replace it. Can
anyone out there offer me any advice, or should I just take it to a mercedes
specialist to have it replaced?

Remove the bottom panel under the glove compartment, the motor
is underneath, just remove all the screws. Though this might not be worth
the trouble, probably half hour labour.
