Dodge: '04 Neon Headlights

Maybe Mr. Stern can help with this one, but I'll put it out there for the
group.

Looking to improve my vision at night, I recently "upgraded" my standard
stock Halogen headlights to the Sylvania SilverStar headlights. It seems to
me that these bulbs are definately a bit brighter (but not much) and they
have a blue-white tint to them. They look good in the Neon. But in
hindsight, I noticed on the website that they only last about a year in
normal conditions. A year?!? So I'm looking for some solid recommendations
backed by actual facts on upgrading my current headlight system without
spending a lot of money. Doing a google groups search yielded little
confidence in these SilverStar bulbs and possibly even confused me more.
